Creating a shortcut key

Hey,
I am having difficulty in creating shortcut button for one of the software but it is always ending up in getting closed also target the screen feature is not working on it. does anyone knows the solution?

First of all apologies for not mentioning the exact problem we are facing, let me clear it first so that it will get easier to understand.

  1. The software we are using is getting exist when I am using the feature of use application/browser and clicking on the specific target, the whole program is getting exist. Neither the keyboard short key feature is working on that software(it uses c++ runtime library.

  2. I did the same process on other app with same built-in functions, it is running there. So is it the universal problem(LIKE OTHER SOFTWARES ALSO FACE THIS KINDA PROBLEM?). Do let us know if anyone has the solution.

The forum that has given is not relevant to us as we are automating things through using UI path way.
