Community Edition Install Failing - "Update is not responding"

License type(Free, Trial/License code): Free

Studio/Robot version: latest as of 3/5/19 (Community Edition Link)

Current behavior: Install is failing with message “Update is not responding”

After this message, I see this:

And the squirrel setup shows this:

One thing I noticed was that when I downloaded the file from the link, it didn’t have an extension. I had to add the “.exe” and then the setup program could start successfully.

I’ve tried the install several times (after removing the UiPath directory from %localappdata% and verifying the registry didn’t contain references to the prior installation of UiPath - which was also the community edition), and have never been able to have a successful installation.
