I found something out…
I created a new process with only “kill adobe” and that works perfectly…
But if i add the same step in my existing “for each row” activity, it is not working anymore…
Any ideas?
But if I copy the testkilladobe (which is working alone fine) into my each row workflow, the kill is not working anymore… (the steps before are perorming fine including the save and opening of the pdf), only the kill is not performing
Try to run workflow without that kill at the end and after that try to kill Adobe reader with task manager (go to details of running processes and manually click them with right click and choose end task).
If that works it means there is sth going on with UiPath. Had you tried to build sequence as I showed you above?

What I have noticed is, you open these file from cloud or network.
Well i am not sure but i suspect this is because of CEF services that are running in background.
RdrCEF.exe and AcroCEF.exe
If you try to kill those, you might be able to achieve this functionality
