I browsed for potential fixes in UiPath community, and UiPath Forum. The closest resolution was that Creation of Global variables is supported in Windows and Cross-platform mode only, not in Legacy mode. However, I am using Windows mode in Studio Version 22.8.0-beta.10010 Community License User-mode Installation (This is the only version available in my organization). I also played around with C# and VB with no success.
Attached is a screenshot, which shows there is no option to declare a variable as global in the data manager panel.
Any resolution support will be highly appreciated.

Very strange to be fixed to a community licence build as that one usually has automatic updates. I’d suggest you get your organization to support the LTS Enterprise releases.
