In the latest version of Studio, we are now able to invoke workflows that require persistence, as opposed to having everything requiring persistence being in the main entry-point.
This feature does not work however with coded workflows. I would love to see this added in the future for more versatility.
I am on Studio 2026.0.189 STS and I have all packages up to date.
Thank you for your feedback here. That’s right, invoking persistence-enabled workflows is not yet supported from coded workflows. I’ve raised this for the involved teams and will raise an item on our side for this.
I was wondering if you think this feature will get prioritized within the year. Right now, I cannot have coded workflows anywhere in the invocation hierarchy if persistence is involved.
I really like coded workflows because my background is in .NET application development, and coded workflows are much better for AI-driven development in my opinion. This feature would make a big difference in my ability to design RPA projects.
