Can someone please explain to me the workflow to password protect more than 1000 PDF’s that are in a folder with different passwords from an Excel file?
In the excel I have 2 columns, NumberAndName and Password, each password is assigned to the number (no similar name, for ex: the same password for those 3: 101 Pete, 101 Josh, 101 Carmen but a different password for those 3: 102 Raj, 102 Alex, 102 Hannah).
As i cannot install anything on this pc, can you please guide me here/in private please?

yes, i’ve tried to use Manage PDF Password but allows me to only use 1 pdf and i have more than 1000 to work on… i am new and confused, thank you :slight_smile:

use manage password within a for each file activity and based on the filename use the password from the excel datatable

thank you for your response, but what should i type in the “user password” for it to insert the password from the excel? and also a new correct name for it?

how many passwords would you have i know you have multiple pdfs but password are based on filename so how many passwords if less save them in a variable and use those in the activities

sorry for the long time, 1 up to 5 pdf’s must have the same password, the condition is the code number in front of the name, can be 1 password for 3 pdf and another password for 5 pdf and so on
