Feedback about the Build a Document Understanding Automation in Studio Academy course.

Overall, I have learned a lot so far from the courses in the Specialized AI Professional learning plan. I have some feedback for this specific course, though.

First of all, this course says it takes 30 minutes to complete, but the steps include:

  • Building a dispatcher
  • Building a performer, including creation of templates for 3 different documents that each have 6-15 fields to extract
  • Posting solutions to the forum and receiving feedback

I don’t think any of those things alone takes 30 minutes to complete.

In addition, some of the fields are checkboxes that require unfamiliar methods to identify them the most ideal way possible. That is, it would be best to have a single field that extracts the text next to whatever checkbox is checked. However, the documentation here does not explain that very thoroughly, and I cannot find help anywhere else. I would like an example of how to do this. I don’t feel like this would take away from the challenge in any way.
