Is there a way to ensure that the browser would open in the main window if you are using dual screens?
Hi
Welcome to uipath forum
Yeah it depends on where robot is installed and executed
If it is on window 1 then it will open there and run the process
Cheers @Sison_Benjamin
Curious why it would matter
That makes no sense. Apps aren’t installed on one monitor or the other. They’re installed on your computer. He’s talking about a computer with multiple monitors.
Realize this is years later, but i have found that (on my 3 monitor set up, surface pro and 2 other 1080p monitors) the click actions can be mis-aligned quite severely. while this likley has more to do with the resolution its a pain so forcing a window to open on monitor 1 for instance helps keep things simpler.
Hi! Welcome to the UiPath Forum.
When you install the robot, it will open in the same window. If you don’t want it to open in any window, you should use background activities. In the new updated UiPath version, there’s another feature that allows you to see the bot run in a PIP (Picture-in-Picture) mode. Enabling this feature will let you watch the bot run in a new window.
