Assignment 2 Generate yearly report - how to get started

I totally stuck at the beginning of this “Generate Yearly Report” -exercise and don’t understand instructions at all. I tried to modify the get transaction data as instructed:

but the selector indicated in instructions is not validated:

Also don’t understand instructions on how to modify the process file.

With current setup the output says that there is no transaction data. Please help

Delete the selector first.
Just copy paste the below selector (as a string) and Click OK.
