I have a set of invoices for data extraction and created a project in Document Understanding. In the data labeling phase, I created a batch, imported the invoices, and added Regular fields like Date, Invoice Number, Total Amount, and Discount Amount.
The Discount Amount field is not present in all invoices – some have it, and some don’t. When I attempt to export, I get a popup asking me to hide the Discount field .
My question is: If the Discount field is hidden, but invoices that have a discount amount are still labeled, will the discount value be included when the data is extracted to Excel for those specific invoices?
No, if the Discount Amount field is hidden during export, the discount value will not be included in the extracted data, even for invoices where it was labelled.
Keep the Discount Amount field visible, even if it’s empty for some invoices. It will then appear in the export file with empty values where it is not present.
And then you may perform post filtering to remove it

Solution could be :
For current export make it hidden and export it without discount filed.
Once you have minimum 10 invoices with Discount field available then you can unhide the discount field and export the labelling.
