“Access denied to path” error

I have the following problem.

I followed the instructions to download and install the Community version.
Everything is fine, but when I try to create a blank template to make the Hello Word, it sends me an error of
“Access denied to path” error.

Help, please

Hi @kevin.kantule

Could you please confirm that you are using the latest version 2021.10.3?

Would you be able to generate some logs via the
image
and then send them over via a private message to me @loginerror?

Afterward, the solution would be to remove Studio and install it again. One suggestion would be to check if there aren’t any restrictions on your machine that would prevent it from running correctly (such as some firewall restrictions or access to your user folder location restrictions). This is typically not the case for your personal computer though.

Thank you for the extra information. I opened a ticket with our team for this issue.

In the meantime, could you still try to change Studio language to English and give it a try?

Also, could you check:

  • if the issue happens in StudioX only, or the behavior is the same using Studio
  • if the user tries to create a new process in a different folder, such as D:\ (not the C:\Users%USERNAME%\Documents\UiPath) one, to see if the behavior is the same on all disks

Hello @loginerror

I hope you are well.

I am notifying you that everything seems to be working fine now.

The procedure I did was:

  1. Create a new project, only instead of saving in the original path, or change to another folder I created to experiment if the problem was the path.

  2. The new project worked without any problem.

  3. I opened again the project that gave problem to save and therefore to execute, sending the error of the route, and it worked.

  4. The other change I made, was that instead of using google chrome, I used firefox to do the test of capturing data from the web…

Thanks for the help.
