Lahiru studied computing and worked as a software engineer before he discovered the potential of Robotic Process Automation. He took on an RPA lead role at the company he was working and started training and mentoring juniors. He then took this new passion to a broader level, and became one of the UiPath Community leads and global influencers. Over 150,000 people have watched his training videos. Today, Lahiru is one of the leading experts on Document Understanding, where he annually delivers product presentations together with UiPath Product Management to over 50,000 developers. UiPath has recognized him as one of their Most Valuable Professionals for the last five years in a row. Lahiru is also one of six people to carry the title “UiPath Global Artificial Intelligence Ambassador”.
