At its core, it’s just a programming language, development suite, and executor, akin to every other RPA product out there. In fact, it is a programming language at its core, and you can build virtually anything with it - it’s a Turing Complete language, and exposes .NET functionality to the developer if they are so inclined. If you were thick-skulled enough, you could load an “Invoke Code” activity and just write some C# or VB.net within UiPath, or directly query an API via SOAP or REST.
