I want to use get text to store a specific value in variable ‘a’ and initialize it to null value

Hi @user118

indicate the text you want to extract in get text activity
in the properties panel , create a variable in value tab using(Ctrl +K) or else right that value tab → create variable

extracted text will stored in manually created variable

When you create a variable it was already initialized as null only so we dont need to initialize null value for variable

if you want any other value other than null then only you need to initialize
