Initially I kept the file name the same as what was included in the zip file., but I kept getting a validation error on this one with the name of the excel file. The error messaging wasn’t entirely clear in stating the cause of the error.
I was able to clear the error by shortening the filename. Is there a character limit? And if so, what is it?
Sorry, I failed to include this error happened in the Modify Word Templates Practice.
Windows has a limit of 256 characters for the complete filename (with the path) - so might this have been the problem?
No the file name definitely met all of the windows requirements. I was able to open the zip file and save all of the files to my computer without issue. Meh. I got it to clear so I guess I’ll just wait and see if it happens again.
