Unable to add/use "use Application/Browser"

I am trying to enable the use of activity “Use Application/Browser” but am unable to find it in activities. I therefore proceeded to install package uipath.UIAutomationNext.Activities which failed with a dependency issue as shown below:-

I then tried to resolve this dependency by installing package UiPath 20.10.7585.27318(other versions do not work, and will prompt for the latest) and am able to get the Activity “Use Application/Browser” enabled. But after adding this activity and trying to “Indicate Application” during use this option only ends with nothing. What i mean is after clicking on “Indicate Application” just causes a brief “blink” of my screen and nothing happens.
