Taxonomy manager Is Multi-Value

Hi,

May I know under Taxonomy Manager, what is the use of Is Multi-Value ? I cannot figure it out from the documentation.

@Snowman - have you received an answer to the Multi-Value checkbox question. I am also not finding a concrete answer in the documentation. Thanks!

After the new Field is created you can click the slider and specify whether it is multi-value ( Is multi-value ) or if it allows for values with no evidence in the document to be processed ( Requires reference ).

Thanks @arivu96, for the feedback. However, I’m looking for what checking the “Is Multi-Value” check box allows or does and use-cases / reasons for checking or not checking the box? Thanks!

Hi,

Is- Multi Value can be considered as a list. Wen you have a list of items to be extracted, instead of using a Table field type wit just one column (Obviously, a table will not span over multiple pages) you can make use of Is Multi_value checkbox.
