Let’s shape the future of automation together!

Thank you for the presentation today, it was very informative and I hope everyone in the meeting is a excited as we are about this new tech.

We have been exploring agents and are now looking at Conversational Agents. Is anyone else here having any success in this area? We would love to learn about your use cases.

We would like to integrate our conversational “HR Policy” agent with Microsoft Teams as opposed to exposing it through a UiPath App. If anyone can offer any suggestions, please let us know.

That’s a great use case! I think UiPath’s Autopilot for Microsoft Teams might be worth a look here. It lets you chat 1:1 with an agent inside Teams, use a search extension, and even plug into Microsoft 365 Copilot. From what I understand, if you already have Autopilot for Everyone in your tenant, you just need to tag the right automations with the Autopilot label so they show up in Teams.

Autopilot - UiPath Autopilot™ for Microsoft Teams

I’m not sure if this maps perfectly to how you’ve set up your HR Policy agent, but it could be a way to bring it into Teams without needing a UiPath App. Do you think that would work in your scenario?

Thank you, Logesh_Velu. We will look into that.

All, I wanted to update this thread with what worked for us…

  1. With the suggestion from Logesh_Velu, we looked into the Autopilot App in Teams which we were already using here at our organization.

  2. We started with opening a new chat with UiPath Autopilot in teams

  3. Then we entered the suggested prompt “switch agent” and were presented with a list of conversational agents we have deployed in the connected tenant. We are able to then select which agent we want to interact with and click the Submit button.

  4. You will see a message that you have switched agents:

Note: We did not explicitly tag anything with Autopilot

Currently we are working to embed UiPath conversational agents within various applications across our organization. There is a lot to be excited about!

For some of the courses, I see the notification that the “course has been retired” or “course not available”. Can you please assist as I am taking a look at the Session 1 content.
Also, is it possible to go through the available content like 2024 versions instead of 2022.10 versions? Are there significant differences in the versions?

While doing the training, I wanted to look at your solution. I tried downloading while using edge. This was obviously a zip file and I got an error “Couldn’t download - need autorization”. I am the sole user of the computer and have admin rights. If there is a good way to filter for these type questions, and you need to redirect me, please do.

There must have been a hiccup in the system. Didn’t work on 3 different computers. I was trying again to get the error message correct for the AI bot and I noticed after changing nothing that it was working. This was true for all three computers. Ignore this request. Deleted if desired as it offers no value to the forum.

I am having issues using the community version of Studio. It tells me my license is expired. I have a license on my work computer, but cannot download ANY outside files, so training is impossible on that computer. I need a solution quickly. I am getting very behind in my training, because I keep hitting roadblocks and spending hours trying to find an acceptable work around.

Hi @montgomery.s.clemons.ctr, thank you for your message. It’s possible that your account was set on the Trial edition instead of the Community edition. For the trial plan, the license expires after 60 days. Could you please check and confirm if that is the case?

Where would I see this? I see in help:

Studio 2026.0.186-cloud.22084 - 1/30/2026
Automation Express License
Express
User-mode Installation

License Provider: Orchestrator
Activation ID:

Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
8.0.15

I also note that I don’t see Orchestrator on my local machine. It is on the Cloud, but not local.

Orchestrator from Web shows:
Free access to Studio Web, Autopilot flows and an Attended Robot for individual use. Limited access to Automation Cloud portal functionality.
I need access to Studio to follow the training plan.

I noticed that prerequisite links in the official UiPath Training Series pages were not working. To make the learning path easier to follow, I’ve collated the correct working links for all courses and pre-requisite links into a PDF. I shared the PDF over Linkedin(link below) for the community. Hope this helps others continue their learning without interruptions.

You can check by going on UiPath. On the upper left side of your screen, press “Product launcher” and then click “Admin”. One of the boxes that pops up is the “Licenses”, where you can see the kind of plan you are using.

Yes I updated my comment to indicate, that I have looked at the license and it is the FREE version, with an expiration date of Sep 18 2026. It shows an Express User 1 of 25. Free access to Studio Web, Autopilot Flows and an Attended Robot. Limited Access to Automation Cloud Portal functionality.

In order to follow the training for the Automation Developer Associate Training, you need access to the Local Studio, this license does not seem to grant that access, this is what I need to address.

@loginerror Could you please take a look here - what could be the issue? Thank you!
