I was hoping there would be a place in the survey to leave more detailed feedback. Since you’re asking about Assistant, the way parameters/arguments work isn’t useful. At first it’ll show “Use default value” greyed out:

If I want to enter a value for one of the parameters I click the pencil and it looks like this:

At no point does it ever show me what the default value is. A user needs to be able to see the default value in order to know what the automation is doing, and if they need to change the value. Please make it show the actual default value instead of just saying “Use default value.” Also, it would be amazing to be able to do some different types of parameter inputs like checkboxes, radio buttons, toggles, etc. to make it more user friendly.

So I miss information in any part of UI about type of installation - Service or User based, it would be good to add it in somewhere. Also I would love to have for example an alert when change of GPO would affect Assistant settings, that would definitely speed up investigation once for example I would lost connection.

Hi,
I filled the survey but had the following additional query:

I read this here (Robot - Action Center Widget) that we can enable the Action Center Widget on the UiPath Assistant after enabling the Assistant Product Policy in “When using Automation Ops (via Cloud or Automation Suite): An Assistant Product Policy must be deployed via Automation Ops, with the Action Center enabled. Read more about how to create and configure a governance policy.”. So, is this only for standalone, can this be done for assistant being used for attended automation by automation cloud customer?
I could not find how to do it from automation cloud account.

I submitted the survey but could not provide this as the feedback. Please include the option to pass values to parameters before triggering the bot from the assistant as we have the option to do the same from the orchestration. (Parameters as in when we create an incoming argument in the main workflow)

I use UiPath Assistant regularly and have found it to be very useful in automating everyday tasks. However, there are a few things that I think could be improved. I’d also be interested in seeing new features or improvements in future updates.
