Scan Pdf Document Extraction

Hi friends,

I have scanned pdf file, i need to extract the specific data like Last Name, First Name, Middle Name, City etc., from pdf and i need to paste into the new Excel sheet.

For this i’m trying to use read pdf with ocr activity and Engines like Google,Microsoft,Tesseract used but i’m not getting the proper output.

Can anyone help on how to extract the data from scanned pdf in community edition?

Note: I am attaching Pdf document1148492-Adams Lin_GA.pdf (3.3 MB)

Good Day!

The PDF you attached is digital one, you can use Read PDF Text activity and Make Sure you check the Format property .

and use Matches activity to extract the required fields.
