Read data from Pivot table in excel having 3 layer collapsible rows

Hi Team,

I’m trying to read data from the Pivot table having multilevel collapsible rows(like the rows are stacked hierarchically and you need to expand/collapse to view data) .e.g Team Name → Resource Names → Task Names.

I tried using Get Table range activity but I’m unable to distinguish between different row items (e.g. Team name, Resource names, task names). Below is another sample for reference but not actual one.

Hi @Rohan_Upadhye1,
Can you check the below value is correct when you try to get range of pivot table Using Get Table Range Activity .

  1. pass the pivot table name in TableName input
  2. Check isPivot properties.
    if you still facing the issue,can you share excel file.

Hi Jyotika_Halai, thanks for your inputs. I’ve already done that part and challenge here is to distinguish between the row category as the result data contains only rows and columns but there is no way to distinguish between TeamName, Resource Name and then project names on which resources are working. All these details are stacked in hierarchy and you can expand/collapse group to view data.(e.g. see Row labels having multi level hierarchy)
