Need a clarification in string split using TAB

Team, I need your help in string split using “TAB” delimiter.

Item = string[10]
{
“Credit Union\tAlabama West Fl Methodist Federal Credit Union”,
“Charter Number\t18187”,
“WebSite\twww.methcu.org”,
“CEO\tDebra Blackburn”,
“Assets\t1,743,682”,
“Online Banking\tNO”,
“Members\t365”,
“Branches\t1”,
“Employees\t1”,
“Share growth\t-0.191895083”
}

Tried: split(item,“\t”.ToArray)
split(item,“\t”.ToCharArray)
split(item,“\t"c)
split(item,”\T")

Nothing worked out.
please help

Is \t supposed to be a the literal character "\" and the literal character “t” ?

@Prabhumkpeak I went ahead and tried it and had no problems? I saved your string to a text file:
{
“Credit Union\tAlabama West Fl Methodist Federal Credit Union”,
“Charter Number\t18187”,
“WebSite\twww.methcu.org”
“CEO\tDebra Blackburn”,
“Assets\t1,743,682”,
“Online Banking\tNO”,
“Members\t365”,
“Branches\t1”,
“Employees\t1”,
“Share growth\t-0.191895083”
}

I then used a read text file to save that text file as a string I called InputString. I used an assign activity to assign arrStr = Strings.Split(InputString,"\t") and had no problems. What error are you getting?

Please try the below expression . Use vbtab as delimiter for tab

Split(Variablename,vbtab)
