How to resolve the error message "module DLL C:\Program Files (x86)\IIS\Asp.Net Core Module\V2\aspnetcorev2.dll failed to load" found in Event Viewer log. After the Orchestrator upgrade to 20.10.4, the Orchestrator access gets the 503 error and the UiPath Orchestrator in Application Pool stops automatically.

The ASP.NET Core/.NET Core Runtime & Hosting Bundle (latest versions) depends on Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable. The Windows Server might have earlier versions of VC++ redist installed.

Resolution:

  • Install the VC 2015 redist.
