Migrating Action Items

We primarily have 2 Catalogs in the “Shared” folder and now we wanted to put these catalogs in their separate folders. is there a way to migrate the existing contents of the catalogs into the new catalogs inside the “PCD” and “CGO” Folders?

Unfortunately, UiPath doesn’t support moving or migrating existing Task Catalogs between folders. Catalogs are tied to the folder where they were created.

The recommended approach would be:

  1. Recreate the same catalogs inside the PCD and CGO folders
  2. Update your processes to use the new catalogs in those folders
  3. Republish and run going forward from the new setup

Existing tasks in the Shared folder will remain there for reference, as they can’t be transferred.
