Invoke Method - Get public key from x509 certificate

Hello Guys,

I am comming accross problem ‘String’ does not have a public instance method named ‘GetPublicKeyString’ matching the parameter types, generic type arguments, and generic type constraints supplied to InvokeMethod ‘Invoke Method’.

I have already install System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates .net package. The purpose of this project is to get public key form x509 certificate file.

Thank you. Hope to know where I was wrong

Hi @Nam_Hoang_Tran ,
GetPublicKeyString is not basically a function of string. It’s actually a function of X509Certificates. Even when you use it in c#, it is used as
X509Certificate cert = X509Certificate.CreateFromCertFile(Certificate);

    // Get the value.
    string results = cert.GetPublicKeyString();

    // Display the value to the console.
    Console.WriteLine(results);

So try changing the data type of the variable you’re calling this method on.
