Input Dialog Activity - Give it 'Focus' automatically

When using the Input Dialog activity, when the dialog appears it does not get focus in the text entry box automatically, so you have to click in the box before typing.

Could the activity be changed, so that when an Input Dialog appears it automatically has focus, negating the need for the user to click to type.
