Import Excel row in Date Format as String

Hi, I have a datatable where there is a column in Date format, I couldn’t change it to text format as the date is retrieved via excel formulas.
I would like to merge the datatable with another datatable, but whenever they are merged, the resulted datatable would convert the column into string.

Why you don’t make a conversion to date format before merge with another table?
