How to use variable as a selector in mobile testing automation?

I am trying to pass the variable as a selector in mobile device automation. I have very good knowledge on how to use variable in web automation but when it comes to mobile there is not target in the property panel. I have attached a screen shot for your reference.

Hi, I tried using ({variablename}) like in for web UI automation. But it did not work.
I am also looking for answer on this.
