I learned that Assistant has a Customize section that allows users to set the arguments. But I did not find this section in my Assistant. Could someone help me? Thank you.
Hi @Li_Eric
The Customize section is available in Information tab. To access it, click on the name of your automation, wait to install it. After that, the information tab will appear.
If you don’t see Customize section on Information tab it means that you automation don’t have input arguments in the main workflow
Hi rikulsilva, yeah I did not have this arguments in main workflow yet. Could you tell which Activity is used to pass such arguments to Assistant?
Sure
In your Main workflow, click in Arguments Panel, add your arguments and try again
Cheers
I want to let the user set below 4 arguments. These variables have existed in my workflow. Shall I just input these as new arguments and their default values in the Argument Panel, or convert them to argument in Variables Panel?
Hi rikulsilva, it worked. Thank you.
One thing. Since i’d like to set the password as a customized argument, I find once I input the password in Assistant, it will display in this section. Can it be typed as a secure text?
Security String argument type is not supported by Assistant.
Something that may help you is asking for Username/Password when user runs the automation from Assistant
