When trying to change the label on a Gmail email, using the GSuite Change Labels activity, why does it also mark the email as read? Why does the GSuite Change Labels activity mark the email as read?

The Read/Unread property of an email is also a label and when there is a new email in the inbox, it already has the label "Unread".

When the workflow changes the label, it removes the "Unread" label and can be changed by following the below

  • Add the "Unread" label in the collection for the property NewLabel of the Change Label activity.
