Getting Text from emails

Hello friends,
I have some problems in getting Outlook emails from the account created for the BOT.
In the “Posta in arrivo” folder I have same messages but I cannot read their text using the “Get Outlook Mail Messages”.
It seams it reads only the messages that are unread, but I would like to read all the items in a folder.

Hi @CamiCat,

You don’t you save the mail message as as .eml format. and read it.

Hi @CamiCat,

It reads all the mails if you do not select unread mail checkbox.

Yes you can.Refer this video from 8:00 min it is clearly explained how to filter mails based
on recieved time

Hi @CamiCat,

I have to say 2 points.

  1. In the xml Mail folder is as “Posta eliminata”. Is it ok. Because it reads the deleted files.

  2. The .eml files can be opened in a text editor as are similar to text files.

In the Outlook account I have the "Posta in Arrivo " folder with some subfolders.
Can you suggest me how I can access and get all the messages in the Subfolders?

Try this in folder property of mail activity "Posta in Arrivo\altri destinatari " @CamiCat

@CamiCat,You need to mention the number of messages to be retreived.If you did not mention any number it does not return any messages

Hi,

Using UiPath studio, Is it possible to extract the information from multiple .msg format files in a folder and save the information to excel file row wise? if so , how ?

As i am noob in this RPA , it would be much helpful if you can guide me.
