Excel as Database in xlsm/xlsb/xlsx

I want to use xlsx/xlsb/xlsm file as database but the format it accept is only xls. Is there any way using these files without disturbing there format since converting format may damage functionality inside file

I saw people using MS Excel Driver which has xlsx,xlsm or xlsb

but in my license it is only showing MS Excel Driver which has xls

How to get that as a option which driver I need to install

You need to install microsoft oledb provider for getting missing connections I believe

Installing MC Access Database engine 32 bit solved this problem. Even though my system is 64 bit need to install 32 bit only.

Dear Experts,

I am just go through my first build studio exercise. facing issue due to file extension. in my outlook received file extension as XLS and in the studio its shown as PDF. Need to know how to freeze file extension to proceed.
