Before the Excel Application Scope keep the Kill Process activity and write Process name as EXCEL

Troubleshooting steps can be followed:

  1. Try to open the file manually
  2. If 1st step is working then use Kill Process activity to Kill Excel then Put some delay e.g. 5 Secs
  3. If 1st step failed then you will get to know whether its a currupted file or being used by other person.

Note: Many times when using Write Range workbook activity use to currupt excel file. If you are using it in your process then change it to Excel application scope and it will work without hassle.
