Hi,
We are trying to implement Document Understanding for the first time to read invoices. I would want to know where we should create the models whether in Document Understanding itself or in AI Centre?

First you need to understand your requirement and then accordingly you can go ahead.
Here, you can use AIC center for ML based extractor for Invoice and you can follow the following steps to do that:

  1. Go to AIC center and create the project.
  2. Create datasets folder for exporting the labeled data
  3. Go for labelling of the data and export the labeled data in datasets
  4. Create Pipeline and check its accuracy/performance
  5. Create ML Skill successfully.
  6. Design your Invoice data extraction flow in UiPath and with help of MLSkill you can extract the data
