Diff btwn "Attach Browser" in Chrome and IE

As for “Attach Browser”, what I could in IE that I couldn’t in Chrome was to select only this area

I could only attach to this area in Chrome. Does anybody know why?

This issue disabled me to attach a newly generated Chrome tab specifically which disabled me to use activities based on the “attach browser” activity, such as click or element related activities.

Did you keep on open the window, while using this activity

Thank you for your answer.

The situation I was in was that I click something and a new Chrome tab is open and I need to use “attach browser” to do things within the newly generated Chrome tab.

I do not understand about “open the window”. Could you please elaborate on this?
