Could not load file or assembly 'IBM.Data.Informix, Version=4.0.0.0

Hi,
I am getting following error mainly after the update.

# **Could not load file or assembly 'IBM.Data.Informix, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7c307b91aa13d208' or one of its dependencies**

Although in some of other process it is working.

Please how to fix it?

Hi there,

Did you perhaps upgrade your project from Legacy to windows?

Try and install the “IBM.Data.Informix” from the manage packages, upgrade +1 up version and see if it resolves your issue, if not try upgrading +1 up at a time until the last available version.

Hi,
No it is still legacy. It is pain in the A$$ to upgrade projects to Windows which has Forms in use.

Anyway, i solved this problem by editing xaml in a text editor and removing the mentioned Assembly namespace/reference.
