Compilation failed or was cancelled error

I recently downloaded UiPath on my personal laptop to mess around with the program outside of work and every time i create a new process it runs the first time and then it pops up with the following error: Unexpected error has occurred during the library compilation process:
The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open. : ‘C:\Users\pwned\OneDrive\Documents\UiPath\test.local\install\test_Expressions_Main.dll’

i’ve been trying to fix this for 3 hours and am at a loss, i ve tried deleting the program and reinstalling it, tried unsyncing it from OneDrive(thought it was the issue), restarting my computer… any advice would be greatly appreciated

Move the file completely from the location where one drive is present to a conplete local location and try to open the project from there or directly create the project in such location

thats the thing, i have UiPath outside of OneDrive as far as i can tell

Even from there if you open are you getting error?

Can you show the error screenshot

Did you happen to create a new project and check?

created a new project, same thing, it ran the first time and then it came up with the same error

another thing as well i closed the application and tried making changes to the .dll file and it still says the file is in use

Try deleting the .local folder it would be recreated when you open project again
