COGS Process case and KPIs

Working on POC for a COGS process case of an agri/chemical product company. I am considering following KPIs:

  • Procurement Costs (raw material, freight, packaging)
  • Inventory Costs (storage, wastage, rework)

Wondering if anyone has done any similar POC and can share anything relevant.

@ajoshi , do you have an aggregated COGS data available?

Is the the data coming from an ERP system? How are you planning to access the data?

Normally you’d use something like Excel/Power BI for such a job or Sheets/BigQuery/Looker Studio if you are in the Google world.

The use of a bot process depends on what your end product is and the process flow leading up to it.

Maybe, give us a bit more detail around your ingredients, work flow and the end product.

The data is coming from Oracle EBS. For now we intend to extract in flat file and upload to UiPath for Process Mining.
The objective is to analyze the current process and identify bottlenecks etc.
For COGS what KPIs recommended? Top 3-5.

I’m not quite sure how that is possible using just COGS data.

This is not a bot question; will be best answered by whoever asked you to make it happen. What was your brief?
