Can we have a feature in Project Dependencies Mass Update tool, not to upgrade even the project.json if the project doesn't have the dependency to be updated

As of now, in Project Dependencies Mass Update tool, if we have selected a dependency to be updated in multiple projects. And if we have selected “Do not Install option”. The tool, upgrades the project version even if that project doesn’t have that dependency.
This is not helpful when we are dealing with n number of projects and selected a project which doesn’t require any change.
