Authoring tool in E-Learning

Hello,
I need to complete an assignment for which I ave been told to use authorizing tool of my choice in E-Learning module.I am afraid I’ve never heard of this terminology(authorizing tool).
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Yes you are correct, it’s authoring tool but how should I use it in E-Learning modules of UI Path?
