Wrong downgrade to Free Plan

Hi there,

I am really not sure how to solve this issue, because there is no way to reach UiPath and discuss about this.

I’m using the UiPath tools from many years. An year ago or more, UiPath gave me the option to try Enterprise Platform for free. I’ve done it and at the end I came back to community, which is how it should behave.

More recetly (2 months ago), it appeared back an option to restart a Trial for the same plan, which I’ve done it. The problem is that, at the end of that, I got downgraded to Ftree plan and this locked me out from using Apps, Orchestrator and most of services since no license is provided.

Is there any way to fix that? Here (Contact Licensing Queries & Activations) system didn’t accept my request and not sure what to do next.

I have seen this issue being faced by many. Ideally it should upgrade from Free to Community after some time (a day or two).

And the alternate method of “creating a New Organisation” works. But you cannot upgrade to Pro Trial, as that button no longer appears.

If you just want Community, then create a new Organisation or wait.

I don’t want the Pro Trial. I just want the Community plan, and that’s it. Is there anyway to reach UiPath about this?

Unfortunately there is no option to upgrade to Community from free except you delete the current organization and create new one. Remember, all your robots codes, everything setup on this Org will be erased.

No way to don’t miss anything? Maybe with exporting data?

You can take out the packages, data service entity or other things we can export and import but there is no option to take full backup of the organization and restore it

You do know you cannot use Community commercially right Matteo? What have you been using it for for years?

The licencing terms about this were all clear and you agreed to them when you activated the trial, so you are locked in here. Its intended to be this way to stop people abusing trial licences I believe.

I’m not using it commercialy. I’ve done the trial so I was able to use more features that otherwise are not available in the Community plan. Anyway, I got downgraded to wrong plan.

Using the Cloud Migration Tool is not an option, right?

Ideally creating a new org is the only way..you can delete current and use same email or use a different email and create a separate one

For packages atleast you can download and uplod them to new org
