Would it be possible in an automation project to send F5 and try again or restart the robot instead of having an error and stopping the process?

Would it be possible in an automation project to send F5 and try again or restart the robot instead of having an error and stopping the process? Sometimes the site takes time to load due to instability and updates. Setting the delay high will decrease performance. There are several processes and I would not like to mess with this function.

Note: I don’t use Orchestrator

It won’t be possible.

You need to handle the exception and implement retry mechanism to retry again.

Retry.xaml (8.9 KB)

Hi,
You can use retry activity and set the max no of retries in the config file. I have attached workflow for reference. I have also added comments in the workflow for better understanding.
Let me know if you need further information.

If you want to restart the bot without using orchestrator then you can create a batch file which contains your bot name and process name and in the catch section you can call this batch file to restart the bot.
