Workbook Append Range And Write Range Fails With Formatted Data

Workbook Append Range & Write Range activities does not work when the target .xlsx file contains a pivot table in a non-targeted sheet.

Root Cause: The conditional formatting and infinite pivot table selection presenting the sheet which is being updated.

Resolution: Post clearing the conditional formatting, select only the values which are present in the tables and update the sheet.

Removing conditional formatting:

• Select table length only up to present table length instead of dynamic or infinite sheet: remove remaining rows from the selection

• Since these are Excel-based features which get added into sheets, by design these will not work with the workbook since workbook activities do not support Excel objects.

• Use Excel Scope activity for these types of sheets or remove the rules to use the Workbook activities.
