I have a default word formatting that puts todays date everytime we open the word document
I would like the date to be fixed so I want to rewrite the date so it doesnt change and it deletes the formatting
However, everytime I try the type into, it actually types in the wrong place. I do a get text of the date before using type into and the get text works perfectly. I don’t know what’s wrong with the type (i use other “type into” in other fields of the word file and haven’t had issues)

I tried using the word application scope to replace text but it doesn’t work either
