Wizards for click relative activities

  • Click Relative
  • Click Text Relative
  • Click Image Relative

As of now my way of configuring a relative activity (click) is by using the recorder. But this brings a lot of overhead since the recorder will generate a separate sequence where i need to dive in and then cut and paste my generated activity.

Therefore, for these 3 activities I would like to have an option named “relative”.

How will it work?

Click Image

  • I choose relative and I grab an image on screen
  • after the relative dialog will be presented and I can configure my relative click directly from the activity

Click Text

  • I choose configure and I indicate an element on the screen
  • I am presented with the Screen Scraping Wizard and I am able to search for a text and set mouse position

It’s a good idea to be able to use the relative clicks without going to the recorder.
