Windows 365 Cloud PC - are Attended and Unattended Bots supported?

Hi,

Windows 365 Cloud PC is a Windows 11 (or 10) image in the cloud that you can acess via you browser.

Would I be able to run an Attended Robots on such?
As you are allowed to install any custom software my guess is Yes, it would be just fine.

Same question for Unattended Bots?
As the RDP session only happens locally at the machine - it might work.
Given the machine is still turned on while no users logged on to it.

Would someone have any experience let me know!

  1. Does Attended work?
  2. Does Unattended work?
  3. Is it supported by UiPath (I can’t find any documentation about with UiPath official docs)

thanks!

@david.jonsson

I believe it is just like an rdp session or a sindows server so it ahould be working without any issues

Cheers

well… Not sure if you are able to reach them via public IP (I doubt it), but only via a browser.

But, yes I’m right with you; a local RDP session to 127.0.0.1, as the Robot service does it - should be OK.

I wanted some, ideally UiPath, to confirm it’s a working and supported setup.

You can try installing a community version and check if it works to start with

As per Feb 20024
From UiPath support:

Since this technology is relative new, we have not conducted comprehensive testing yet so unfortunately Windows 365 Cloud PC’s are not officially supported.

I recommend keeping an eye on our Robot release notes where we regularly update and document all officially tested and supported products:
