Why uipath not added write range activity for .csv file

is there any specific reason

buddy write range activity is specifically meant for Excel based activity
and it accepts only either .xlsx or .xls format and not .csv format
to write csv file we got an activity called WRITE CSV activity
kindly have a view on this buddy
