I’m using a create pivot table in a project in my local and it seems to create a column called sum of FTE when tested it was succesfully running but when the same project folder is copied to the vm and there the same activity is creating sum of FTE2 we did not define this change anywhere in the code why is it happening and what is the solution?
It’s due to duplicate columns names in your source range.
See in the screenshot, I have created 3 columns with same name. Pivot renamed them as incremental number at the end.
The the source data there is some issue not with code.

there is no duplicate column i have only column called count of FTE and SUM OF FTE which is supposed to be but getting Count of FTE and SUM of FTE2
In that case, would you be able to share the file or screenshot of it?
