Why is changing the format order on date values in the Write Range dd/mm/yyyy hh:ss to mm/dd/yyyy hh:ss?

I’ve debugged and I’ve saw the value before it is written into excel with “write range” activity and the format is like this dd/mm/yyyy hh:ss, but when It is written into Excel file, the records from September 1st to the last one are getting changed the format to mm/dd/yyyy hh:ss .

Please, need help. Do you have any ideas about why is this happening, thanks.

Excel formats data for you. Check the format of that column in the Excel file. Keep in mind that a datetime doesn’t have a format, it is a value. Excel is storing the value, and displaying it how you’ve told it to display dates.

@pprin001 ,

Check the value and its format in the input file for September month, share a screenshot of the same.

Hello @pprin001

Here what you can do is keep a template in excel and you can keep the required format for the cells.
Then write the range to that particular template. It will help to keep your dates or any other field as required.

Thanks

Thank you for your ideas. I solved it using modern activities like “Write Datatable to Excel” inside a “use Excel File”.
