While Submitting An Idea In Automation Hub, How To Troubleshoot Error : "This User Is Not Permitted To Perform This Action Based On Their Role" ?

Issue Description: Business user with role set as "standard user" in automation hub trying to submit an idea give an error message saying "This user is not permitted to perform this action based on their role"

Resolution: All the standard users should be able to submit ideas .


Submitting ideas is not allowed for Other(Other) Category, which is why this error shows up.

  • Ensure that the correct Categories are selected and the user has access to the same, while submitting the idea.
